How do I know if my venue will allow fireworks?

Just give High Desert Pyrotechnics a call and we will take it from there.  We do a full site inspection, work with land owners as well as state and local agencies to insure the proper permits are available and secured for your event and location.

How much does a professional display cost?

Display shows can start as low as $1,000.00 and go as high as $1,000,000.00 - it depends on many factors such as type of display, size of product that can be used and location.  Call or email High Desert Pyro for a quote based on your requirements.  And rest assured we work just as hard for you if your show is $1,000.00 or $1,000,000.00 that's just part of our commitment to ever customer, every job.

How long should a fireworks display last?

We will make recommendations to you as to how long your display should last based on show size, type (choreographed or not), budget, and the impact you are looking for (fast and heart pounding or slow and beautiful).

How are display fireworks discharged?

100% of our indoor displays and 99% of our outdoor displays are fired and controlled by approved manual and computerized state of the art electrical firing systems which allow us to have total control over your show at all times.

What about insurance for the show?

High Desert Pyrotechnics takes care of that for you as well.  We provide each display with $1,000,000.00 in public display and product liability insurance.  Upon request we can provide insurance with limits up to $5,000,000.00 if necessary.

What type of fireworks does High Desert Pyrotechnics offer?

We offer display shells from 2" to 16" in diameter.  In addition, we incorporate exhibition multi-shot repeaters, candles and fountains in different effects and sizes to enhance your spectacular outdoor display.

Indoor, we offer all sizes of gerbs, mines, flame projectors, waterfall effects and confetti cannons.  The products we use in each display are made of the highest quality materials and are imported especially for High Desert Pyrotechnics.

How do I know my show will be great?

We do not believe in "cookie cutter" (pre-designed) shows.  The professionals at High Desert Pyrotechnics custom designs each show to meet your needs and hand selects the proper product to fit the location and spectator viewing area at your event.  This ensures that you will get the best show possible.

Who will shoot the show?

All of our operators and assistants are fully trained.  All employees involved in the setup, firing or transportation of your show will either meet or exceed the minimum required training standards set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and complies with all FEDERAL, STATE and LOCAL laws governing fireworks and special effects usage.

How are the fireworks transported to the display site?

We transport all fireworks and related equipment in company owned trucks and trailers.  We transport to and from the display site in accordance with all US Department of Transportation (USDOT) codes and regulations. (As well as compliance with State Department of Transportation for those states that we operate in.)  We provide $5,000,000.00 in commercial vehicle insurance coverage for each display as required by the US Department of Transportation.

How do I know I am getting what I paid for?

We pride ourselves on honesty, good business ethics, and strongly encourage you that anytime you purchase or contract out a fireworks display (with us or another company) that you visit the site during setup and make sure that the correct number of shells and proper sizes are being used.  This is your right as the customer!
